Darken a sleeping area
Choose Black-out when the attic is used as a bedroom or guest room.
Made to measure for straight dormer windows, sleeping and working
Stick & Fit is suitable for straight, vertical windows in a dormer. The system is not intended for sloping roof windows. Choose the fabric based on sleeping, working, sun and temperature in the attic.

Specific to this room
An attic can be a bedroom, a workspace or a guest room. Its use determines how much light, privacy and blackout you need.
Choose Black-out when the attic is used as a bedroom or guest room.
Use light-filtering at a desk to reduce glare without making the room dark.
The honeycomb structure helps keep the climate around dormer windows more comfortable.
Use the same fabric and profile colours across the whole dormer.

Practical room advice
For a bedroom, Black-out is the logical choice. For a workspace or hobby room, light-filtering is often more pleasant. If you have both functions in one room, each window can have its own position while the fabric colour stays the same.
Light-filtering or blackout
Choose by function first. Black-out makes a sleeping area dark; Single Tone and Duo Tone give privacy and soft daylight. The honeycomb structure helps with the temperature differences that are often greater in the attic.
For a work or hobby attic where daylight remains important and the colour may show on both sides.
An interior colour inside and white facing out. Handy for a calm façade and a warm room.
For bedrooms and guest rooms. The fabric lets no light through and gives the strongest blackout.

Match the window frame, sloping wall and daylight
In a dormer, a mismatched profile colour quickly stands out because of the compact space. So match the adhesive profile to the window frame and choose the operating rail to suit the fabric or wall colour. Available colours are RAL 7016, RAL 7035, RAL 9005, RAL 9001 and RAL 9003.

A dormer often consists of several straight windows. These are suitable when there is enough space around handles, seals and moving parts.
Stick & Fit is not intended for sloping roof windows or irregular shapes.
Each window in the dormer gets its own pleated blind and can be operated separately.
Use a control wand if the rail is difficult to reach.
Use the same fabric in a cord-operated or electric version when Stick & Fit does not fit.
