Installation without drilling

Fitting a Stick & Fit pleated blind on the glass

With calm preparation, you fit Stick & Fit in about 5 minutes, without a drill or screws. Watch the installation video first and work accurately. A completely grease-free and dry glass surface and the correct left/right orientation are decisive; after hanging, let the adhesive strips bond fully for 24 hours.

Watch before you start

The complete installation video in 2 minutes and 53 seconds

The video shows the installation in 23 steps. Watch it all the way through first and, if you like, play it again while fitting or pause at each step.

Good preparation

Take your time to clean, check and align

The installation itself is simple, but careful preparation prevents crooked profiles and poor adhesion.

01

Clean the glass

Make the entire bonding surface grease-free with the degreasing wipe supplied and let the glass dry completely.

02

Check the temperature

Only install when the surroundings and the glass are between 15 °C and 35 °C.

03

Determine left and right

Always check L and R as seen from inside the window. The correct orientation is needed for proper operation.

04

Align straight

Use a spirit level, ruler and pencil for aligning. A drill or screwdriver is not needed.

Important after installation

Give the adhesive strips 24 hours to bond fully

Do not operate the pleated blind immediately after installation. The first day is important for strong and even adhesion.

Do not use for 24 hours

Leave the product alone after installation. This gives the adhesive strip time to bond fully.

Small air pockets

Small air bubbles under the adhesive strip may occur and, according to the guide, do not affect operation.

Child safety

Always keep cords out of the reach of children and prevent cords from becoming tangled or forming loops.

Avoid having to put things right

Common installation mistakes

A few extra minutes of checking before pressing into place prevents most problems.

Not degreasing completely

Dirt, dust or grease reduces adhesion. Clean the entire bonding surface and let it dry properly.

Mixing up L and R

Check the markings as seen from inside the window before you click parts into place.

Removing the film in one go

Work gradually from top to bottom. This keeps the profile straight and under control.

Touching the adhesive layer

Fingerprints on the adhesive layer can reduce adhesion. Only hold the film and the profile.

Not pressing firmly everywhere

Press the side guide evenly and uniformly against the glass along its entire length.

Operating too soon

Wait 24 hours after installation before using the pleated blind.

Frequently asked questions

Practical questions about installing Stick & Fit

Do I need tools for the installation?

You do not need to drill or screw. A spirit level, ruler and pencil are useful for careful alignment. Also use the degreasing wipe supplied.

At what temperature can I install the adhesive profiles?
