Pleated blinds for wooden window frames

You want to keep a wooden window frame looking good. With Stick & Fit you don't have to screw through paintwork or wood, and the window covering stays subtly on the glass.

Beautiful windows, calm installation

The wooden window frame keeps the leading role

Because Stick & Fit sits on the glass, the wood stays visible. That is attractive in older homes, wooden conservatories and window frames with character.

1

Measure on the window

Use the instructions and check the space around handles and seals.

2

Match the colours

Choose the adhesive profile to go with the paintwork and the operating rail to go with the fabric.

3

Install without screws

The slim profiles are stuck on and the wood stays free.

RAL 7016 and 9005

Attractive with dark woodwork and modern extensions.

Single Tone outer side

A deeper fabric colour can go nicely with wood or brick.

No loose cords

Calm and safe in use.

Choose light, colour or full blackout

Duo Tone is handy when different rooms need to keep one white appearance from outside. Single Tone, on the other hand, can blend beautifully with brick, wood or paintwork. Black-out provides extra blackout and insulation.

Calm from outside

Duo Tone

Duo Tone combines a coloured room side with white outside. This keeps the outside view calm, even when wooden window frames are painted in different colours inside.

Single Tone

Single Tone is the same colour on both sides and can go nicely with wood, stain or a dark paint colour. The fabric then deliberately becomes part of the look of the window frame.

Blackout

Black-out

Black-out darkens the fabric surface and provides extra insulation. Check that the glass, seals and paintwork are flat, clean and suitable; some light may still come in along the edges.

For bedroom, guest room or study

The adhesive profile and operating rail do not have to be the same colour

Match the adhesive profile to the window frame or seal and choose the operating rail to go with the fabric. You decide which combination looks best.

Measuring with a wooden window frame

Check that the surface is straight and flat

Woodwork can vary slightly more than smooth uPVC. So measure each window separately and ask for advice if the shape or edge is irregular.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about wooden window frames

Do I need to screw into the wooden window frame?

No. Stick & Fit is fitted on the glass.

Does it also suit old wooden windows?

Often it does, as long as the window is straight and there is enough flat space for the profiles.

Which colour goes with cream paintwork?

RAL 9001 is often a good combination. If in doubt, request colour samples.

Can the fabric colour outside match the wood?

Yes. With Single Tone, the same colour is visible on the outside.

Does honeycomb fabric help with older windows?

The honeycomb structure provides extra insulation against cold and heat.

What if my window frame is not completely straight?

Send photos and measurements. We can then assess in advance what is possible.
